Treks in the Ganesh Himal region are designed to introduce you to a broad spectrum of life in different Nepalese communities blended with beautiful landscapes. You can visit Ganesh Himal base camp, where there are two lakes- Black and White. Likewise there are two waterfalls Ganga and Jamuna that bring joy to your heart. While, this trekking route is less frequented than Annapurna and Everest area, it still is popular among many trekkers. In March and April the hills and mountains look magnificient reddened with blooming Rhododendron, the nationa flower of Nepal. Towards the end of this trek you will visit the historic town of Gorkha, the birthplace King Prithivi Naryan Shah, who unified several small states and principalities spread across the land to make modern Nepal. You can visit his historic palace which sits atop a hill overooking the towns, villages, rivers, forests and mountains. Gorkha is also home to the original ‘Gurkha’ Warriors who have earned name and fame for their bravery round the globe. The Ganesh Himal trek begins at Trishuli after a four hours drive from Kathmandu and ends at Gorkha followed by a six hours drive back to Kathmandu.

Detail Itinerary of Singla Pass Trekking
  • Day 01: Arrive Kathmandu at (1’365m. 4’478ft.)
    As a panoramic thrill flying into Kathmandu on a clear day. The views of snow-capped mountain peaks sprawling down below you are almost ecstatic, beginning a whole chain of memorable experiences that stay with you for a long, long time. A representative and driver from our office will meet you at the airport and escort you to your hotel.

    Day 02: City sightseeing in Kathmandu Valley
    Kathmandu is the historical and cultural heart of Nepal and has been a popular destination for tourists ever since Nepal opened its doors to visitors. The city presents a wonderful mix of Hinduism, Tibetan Buddhism and Western influence in the Valley. Patan and Bhaktapur, its two major neighboring cities bear immense historical, cultural and religious significances.

    Day 03: Kathmandu - Betrawati at (700m. 2'296ft.) about 5 hours bus journeys
    Betrawati is a small village where you can see a mixed nepali life. The drive is 5 hours where you can see the beautiful sites.
  • Day 04: Betrawati - Kispang at (1'600m. 5'249ft.) about 7 hours Trek
    Kispang is a small village for Tamang people. Most of the people in this area are dependent on farm. The walk is gradual walk from betrawati to Kispang.
  • Day 05: Kispang - Thulo Chaur at (2'200m. 7'217ft.) about 7 hours Trek
    Leaving kispang the trail is gose gradual up passing through rainy forest and at the end of the day, camp in the forest.
  • Day 06: Thulo Chaur - Gonga at (2'600m. 8'530ft.) about 6 hours Trek
    Today we walk quite steeply about 6 hours passing through Rhododendron forest. If you are lucky you could encounter with some wild animal. The beautiful view of Mountains can be seen from Gonga and at the end of the day.
  • Day 07: Gonga - Rupchet at (3'635m. 11'925ft.) about 7 hours Trek
    We walk steep up walk for about 4 hours through forest. And where we could have an one of the beautifull Mountain views. At the end of the day, camp on the alpine forest where the bushes are numerous in number.
  • Day 08: Rupchet - singla pass at (4'100m. 13'451ft) about 2 hours - Kharka at (2'500m. 8'202ft.) about 4 hours
    The trekking journeys is also steep up for about 2 hours to Singla pass. From Singla pass you could have great view of Mt. Ganesh himal, Langtang, Manaslu etc. After Singla it is steep down for about 4 hours to Kharka.
  • Day 09 Kharka - Borang at (1'800m. 5'905ft.) about 7 hours Trek
    Leaving Kharka we than follow this steep down hill passing through land terraces and villages to Borang.
    Borang is a nice typical Tamang village with the beautiful mountain views.
  • Day 10: Borang - Jharlang at (1'700m. 5'577ft.) about 6 hours Trek
    From Borang the trekking journeys is gradual walk for about 6 hours. we than passing through terraces and finally we are at villages of Tamang cummunity.
  • Day 11: Jharlang - Kingtang Phedi at (800m. about 7 hours Trek
    From jharlang it takes about 7 hours, The trekking journeys will be more easy with the steep down hill passing through small villages. and finally we at Kingtang phedi is a small village with mixed culture.
  • Day 12: Kingtang phed i- Katunje Bazaar at (1'750m. 5'741ft.) about 7 hours Trek
    The trek leads us through river for about 2 hours and then climbing up road for about 4 hours passing through village and forest
    to Katunje Bazaar a small Tamang villages with a miraculous view of Mountain ranges.
  • Day 13: Katunje - Dhading Bensi at (700m. 2'296ft.) about 7 hours Trek
    Leaving Katunje and lead us to steep up for about one and half hours and down hill for about 4 hours passing through villages to Dhading Bensi. After we reach to dhading Bensi, camp near by the River.
  • Day 14: Dhading Bensi - Kathmandu
    Scenery drive for about 5 hours to Kathmandu

    Day 15: Departure Kathmandu
